Little engine that could.jpg

We here at the Community Food Pantry are working hard on our 2018 end of year push to build capacity for our sweet “little” pantry.

With a goal of $10,000 we plan to expand our fleet with a much needed truck to pull the trailer. Our trailer currently picks up from our partners; Feeding Tampa Bay, Publix, Whole Foods, Sprouts, Target and Fresh Market. We use a volunteer vehicle every single week to pull our trailer; however, with a truck we have the ability to receive more from our partners, allowing us to better serve the food insecure community that includes children and seniors in need.

Sponsorships will be available for all donations over $1,000*. That’s right, our new truck will showcase your company name around town for a full 12 calendar months. Sponsor logos will be professionally displayed on the truck, our website and highlighted at all of our signature events throughout the year. (The truck will be purchased in the first quarter of 2019 if all sponsorships are sold*).

DONTLABELHUNGER

Hunger is usually stereotyped as homelessness, but hunger often looks like you and me. It affects kids, single moms, fathers trying to support their family, and seniors on a fixed income.

Hunger happens to everyday people, every day.

As a proud partner of Feeding Tampa Bay, the Community Food Pantry is committed to the mission of hunger and determined to eradicate the confining labels put on our neighbors. You can join us in this effort, too.

We help those in our community with food insecurities.
