PLEASE SUPPORT OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS AS THEY SUPPORT US
The Publixes at the Village Center and Westgate Plaza provide donations for the pantry four days a week so we can better serve our clients. They provide dairy, eggs, meat, breads, desserts, grocery, and personal hygiene items when available.
Whole Foods Carrollwood began providing supplemental groceries to the Pantry in 2015. They provide similar bread, and dessert items, including organic and all natural products. In addition to these items the CFP receives dairy, eggs, pre-made meals, and personal hygiene items.
The Fresh Market
The Fresh Market Carrollwood provides donations for the pantry six days a week so we can better serve our clients. They provide breads, desserts, pre-made sandwiches, salads, and meals. Even on occasion, we are able to provide fresh flowers for our clients.
Feeding Tampa Bay
Feeding Tampa Bay, part of the national Feeding America network, focuses on providing food to the more than 700,000 hungry in the 10-county area of West Central Florida. The CFP is privileged to be one of their agencies.
Sams contributes 2-4 pallets of fresh produce to the Community Food Pantry. This adds choice for our clients
WHEN THEY HAD ALL HAD ENOUGH TO EAT, HE SAID TO HIS DISCIPLES, "GATHER
THE PIECES THAT ARE LEFT OVER. LET NOTHING BE WASTED." -- JOHN 6:12
We are able to extend our reach by sharing our bounty with Christian Social Services, Joshua House, McClain, Inc., and through regular deliveries to the homeless or near homeless on the streets of Tampa. We further our mission by participating with Vista Gardens in Carrollwood Village in a compost program for produce we are not able to distribute.
