Ada B. - Lead Intern

Ada is a senior at Bloomingdale High School and is excited to be returning as both a second-year intern and a Lead Intern. She is a full-time dual enrollment student currently pursuing her associate’s degree at Hillsborough College. On campus, Ada stays involved through chorus, basketball and other clubs. Outside of school, she enjoys helping her community and is a retired Key Club Lieutenant Governor. In her free time, she’s likely spending time at home by the pool with her dogs and listening to music.


Gladyanne L. - Lead Intern

Gladyanne is a senior at Sickles High School. She is involved in various clubs, such as NHS, Beta, Key, and the math and science honor societies. She is a three-year member of the Sickles varsity volleyball team and has played travel volleyball for 10 years. Outside of school, Gladyanne loves going to the beach and spending time with friends. She is always very involved in Bags of Hope events and helped lead this year's fourth annual Key to Hope, hosting 145 students who made over 2,500 toiletry bags for the community.

 

Alex W. - Lead Intern

Alex Wilson is a junior at Tampa Catholic High School and is excited to return as a third-year intern and a Lead intern. At TC, he participates in varsity football and track and field. He is involved in the BEST Club, Conversations with Christ and serves as a student ambassador. Alex is also an ambassador for Touchdown Pass Foundation, collecting gently used and new football equipment for Tampa Bay youth. He loves hanging out with friends and family and enjoys watching sports. Alex is excited to contribute to Bags of Hope, as well as his internship with the Community Food Pantry.

 

AnjaLi K.

Anjali is a sophomore at Steinbrenner High School and a first-year Bags of Hope intern. She is a member of Key Club and FBLA. She loves to read and volunteer at churches and other organizations. Anjali is passionate about human rights and studying international law. She was invited to participate in Stanford’s Intensive Law and Trial Program.

 

Ayati K.

Ayati is a sophomore at Steinbrenner High School and a first-year Bags of Hope intern. She is in clubs such as FBLA, HOSA and Red Cross. She enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with her friends, and is excited to be a Bags of Hope intern this year.

 

Avery S.

Avery is a senior at Tampa Catholic High School. She is a member of Campus Ministry, the National Art Honor Society and the National Spanish Honor Society. She has played beach volleyball for three years now and loves to hang with friends, go to the beach, and listen to music.

 

Deepika P.

Deepika is a senior at Steinbrenner High School. She is a member of many clubs, including NHS, Book Club, and more. She also volunteers for VTSeva by collecting and donating books for children in Africa. Outside of school, Deepika plays the violin at the Play it Forward Orchestra. She is very excited to be a part of Bags of Hope this year.

 

Jayden O.

Jayden is a senior at Tampa Catholic High School and a first-year Bags of Hope intern. She is a varsity captain for the TC women’s lacrosse team and has been a starter since her freshman year. She serves as the Vice President of the French National Honor Society and is also a member of the National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, French Club, Pro-Life Club, Conversations with Christ, SHAPE Senior and more. Outside of school, Jayden has played club lacrosse for the past three years. Her favorite activities include going to the beach, attending country concerts and spending time with friends.

 

Lily M.

Lily is a senior at Tampa Catholic High School and a first-year Bags of Hope intern. She is captain of the indoor volleyball team and a member of the beach volleyball team. She has played club volleyball for four years at Team Kiwi Volleyball. Lily is a part of six honor societies at TC. She’s a member of Campus Ministry and TC ambassadors. Lily joined Bags of Hope to get involved in her community. She is extremely passionate about her faith, which has guided her to become more involved in the community, which led her to Bags of Hope. Lily loves making new friends, trying new activities and growing in her relationship with God.

 

Naomi B.

Naomi is a junior at Carrollwood Day School and a first-year Bags of Hope intern. She is involved in Thespians (including Musical Theater), ASL Club, Yearbook Club and Psychology Club. Outside of school, she enjoys participating in the Penguin Project as a Peer Mentor with New Tampa Players, doing community theater and hanging out with friends at the movies or Busch Gardens. Naomi is excited for her internship with Bags of Hope and the opportunity to continuously help her community.
